Dear visitor,

My name is Marya Khan. I live in the beautifull Flanders, located in Belgium. 

 

As a 10 year old, I started drawing for hobby. My final years as a student put a stop to it. The hectic period of final studies, followed by early years of parenthood, didn’t leave any thought or energy to make me draw again. Last year, my daughter asked me to draw something for her and that got the ball rolling again.

Meanwhile, few people, including a teacher who's a writer herself, insisted that I start writing. They said that they were convinced after reading the verses I sincerely wrote for them that I should start.

By combining a phrase with a drawing, I discovered a whole new portal for me to express myself and release accumulated emotions, thoughts and idea's.

 

I write in Flemish and in English. Flemish is a language of Flanders where I live, located in Belgium. It is same as Dutch in written form, the language spoken in The Netherlands. The name of this website is also in Flemish - Kunst_perspectief - which is translated in English as Art_perspective.

This is in a nutshell of who I am.
