In life, one experiences an inner intense sense of necessity to find something, one cannot define properly. This - something - can be an entity, an essence, one's inner self, an ultimate feeling, experience of a life time or what you only can feel you're automatically floating to. All the feelings arise about simultaneously due to the final attainment of it.

The different phases of life have some times soothed this inner urge of seeking but didn't succeed to end the search.

During this quest one experiences moments of fatigue, pain, enormous distraction/ confusion, feeling of being lost and even anger for this restless search but yet it has not stopped the arousal.

Canvas – Quest – captures a look of inexhaustible curiosity of all senses, happiness, admiration and yet also the bewilderment (mouth on the drawing) at the achievement of that – something – after the quest of life. One eventually discovers that this final achievement is actually much more precious than all requirements through the quest have been demanding.
