Fragile moments

When I wash my child's hair playfully with my fingers, I think of the parent who sees her/his child lying breathless in front of them because of an intentional barbarian..

When my child tells me stories full of innocence and offers me moments of softening, I think of the parent whose child screams of the unbearable pain because of an intentional barbarian..

When my child runs happily from school to me and I fully enjoy his embrace, I think of the parent whose child is lost and in danger because of an intentional barbarian..

When I tuck my child into his bed and give him a kiss, I think of the parent who feels the lifeless body for the last time and kisses it, to have it buried after that because of an intentional barbarian..

What do they feel?

... an unbearable existence...

How deeply do they feel?

... an immeasurable soul-wrenching sorrow...

What do they want?

… Revenge?

...of that barbarian?

…of the world that was watching?

No! They only want their living child back!

… they only want their happily playing child…
